Our awesome friends down at Ohope Beach School are at it again and are running an awesome Art Exhbitionto raise even more money for 100 Days 100 Dollars. The dates are yet to be confirmed but it will be happening sometime early December.

This is going to be an awesome event so if your down in the mighty Bay of Plenty make sure you check it out.

Dear World!
We have done it! 100 Days 100 Dollars 2008 is officially over today! Hip hip horay for us! Thanks so much to everyone who has made this year such a success. Big thanks to all the Street Team leaders, volunteers, pastors, teachers and families for all their support and encouragement.

Over the next few weeks we are going to be collecting all of the money in and will hopefully have a final total to announce really soon so keep an eye out for that.

100 Days 100 Dollars Round 2 is over...lets start building again! :)

Hey People,
With today being DAY 97 we thought we'd write a little poem to help inspire the masses to donate to this years campaign. It definitly isn't Shakespeare but at least it rhymes.

100 Days 100 Dollars is soon at an end,
But there is still time to donate money my friend.
We want to build a school in Kibera slum,
A place that is messed up and in need of your Mum.
Our little plan is simple. Its about education,
Building up kids to bring hope to their nation.
We're looking for people to join hand in hand,
Donate $100 and get up and stand.
For kids who have nothing not even some toys,
We can make a difference for girls and for boys.
Where kids can learn skills, play games and have fun,
Where hope can be found and new adventures begun.
So open that wallet and dig deep today,
You can change lives hip hip horay!

How about that aye...not too shabby.

Hey good looking,
Today is DAY 91 so that means there are only 9 Days left. Don't worry though. Thats heaps of time to save up some money and donate to our building fund. Apart from the obvious...giving kids an education here are a few other lil bonuses for giving to 100 Days 100 Dollars.

1. If you donate to $100 Days 100 Dollars your crush will instantly fall in love with you. Trust me it works!

2. Our friends at The Bank of Nigeria are offering us 25 Million dollars if we can watch over their money for a few days....jokes.

3. Obama is from Kenya and thats where Kibera is....see the connection....world changing!

4. The global credit crisis means no ones gonna be able to pay of their debts anyway....whats another $100 gunna do.

So as you can see there is heaps of reasons to donate (wink wink).

Hey Mates!
Another big shout out to everyone at Kristin College in Auckland. For the second year running now students from Kristin College have run a fundraiser called Coins for Kibera where they walk around school with giant plastic tubes asking people to give their spare change and fill them up.

Well this year was again another huge success with over $600 raised in one day. Thanks so much to Mrs Noyes and all of the students that helped out. Legendary!

Hello World,
Special shout out to all of the kids down at Ohope Beach School...you guys are amazing! Apart from spreading the 100 Days message down in Ohope these guys have been fundraising up a storm. We are so stoked to have all of the crew down at Ohope Beach School working alongside us to help out the kids in Kibera.

Pretty much Ohope Beach School = the coolest school in New Zealand!

Hello Big Wide World,
Today is DAY 57 of the campaign and with that in mind we want to just remind you all of a few cool things about our campaign and why we'd love to have your support...

1. We give 100% of all donated money to our projects! Yup thats right 100% of all the money raised is going towards building this school in Kibera slum. It is our conviction that all that money can only go there and thats something we're really proud of :)

2. We are all volunteers! Everyone that works on 100 Days 100 Dollars gives their time, skills and own money to help make this campaign happen for free. Ohh isn't that just awesome! Thanks volunteers :)

3. Although we are based in New Zealand this campaign isn't just for New Zealanders. We want to invite people from around the world to join in the fun and help us build a school in Kibera slum.

4. (For New Zealanders) We're a government registered charity so every donation made is tax deductible. Just drop us a message on the CONTACTS page and we can flick you out a receipt.

Hey People!
Today is DAY 50 of this years 100 Days 100 Dollars campaign! We are now at the official halfway point....booya!!!

This years campaign is off to a really great start and we've recieved such an awesome response from so many people from around New Zealand, USA, Canada & Australia which has been fantastic! Thankyou so much.To celebrate DAY 50 why dont you treat yourself to something exciting in honour of this very special day. Here's some options for you.

- Do something completly unique. Shave your eyebrows, grow a moustache, die your hair bright orange....be crazy!

- Tell that special someone that you've had a crush on for months that you love them. Because its DAY 50 you might just get a good response for your bravery!

- Climb on top of a nearby mountain and burn an image in the grass.

- Go out in the sun and drink 4 litres of warm milk!

Over in the MEDIA section we have added two new lil videos.

One of them is of a beautiful lil poem read by an equally beautiful little girl called Grace. When we were over in Africa in May, Grace took us aside and offered to recite this poem to us. Grace is just one of the kids who are benefiting from all of money raised from 100 Days 100 Dollars and is just another example of how education is changing the lives of kids living in Kibera.

The second video is of Dan Gibson from Kingston talking about sponsoring a kid called Brian and helping him out with his school fees for a year and the joy he got out of it.
